MORTGAGE TAX

ALTA ENDORSEMENT - FORM 38-06

This endorsement provides coverage to the insured lender if there is a deficiency in the

recordation tax paid at the time the Insured Mortgage is recorded that is subsequently paid. The

endorsement provides that, if the deficiency is paid, the Company will provide coverage against

the invalidity or unenforceability of the Insured Mortgage or the lack of priority of the Insured

Mortgage, from the failure to pay at the time of recording any portion of the recording tax. The

Company does not provide coverage if the insured lender fails to pay the recordation tax

deficiency.
